I’m Melvin, and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I'm passionate about supporting youth and young adults in the areas of mental health, education, and overall wellness. I believe in meeting people where they are in their lives, no matter what they’ve been through. I value people from all walks of life and the unique experiences they bring to therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity. My approach is flexible, so clients can express themselves freely and make decisions that are best for them. I also try to incorporate their strengths into the process. I’ve been working with youth aged 4 to 17, adults, and families for over a decade. I have experience supporting my clients in the non-profit and public sector, healthcare, housing, private practice, and K-12 education.
